The Vodafone Media Platform is a digital link with journalists that operates around the clock to meet their needs and answer their queries.

Celebrating more than 25 years as a great place to work

Vodafone Egypt recently celebrated our 25th anniversary with a spectacular event themed “More than 25 Years of a Great Place to Work”. The celebration brought together 9 000 employees and featured 18 food and beverage vendors, creating a joyous atmosphere of camaraderie.

The night kicked off with an electrifying performance by Disco Misr, setting the stage for the main act, Egyptian megastar Amr Diab. As the music filled the air, employees danced and celebrated, living the Spirit of Vodafone.

This milestone event not only honoured Vodafone’s legacy but also highlighted our commitment to fostering a positive work environment. The celebration was a testament to the company’s dedication to its employees, making it clear that Vodafone Egypt is indeed a great place to work.

The night concluded with smiles, laughter, and a renewed sense of belonging among the Vodafoners.

Vodafone Egypt proudly launched our 2024 Sustainability Report, themed “Enriching Lives Every Day Through Our Technology”. The report highlights our commitment to fostering an inclusive, connected and sustainable society through impactful initiatives.

In 2023, Vodafone Egypt made significant strides in rural connectivity, with over 4 000 rural sites now operational, enhancing digital inclusion for countless individuals. Financial inclusion also flourished, as 20 million Vodafone Cash wallet holders gained access to secure digital financial services. The Ta3limy platform has transformed education, reaching over 2.5 million learners.

Moreover, we demonstrated our dedication to accessibility, with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Call Centre managing 35 000 requests. Environmental efforts included a reduction of 1.8 million litres of diesel and a 54% decrease in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, as we aim for Net Zero by 2035. Vodafone Egypt also fosters gender equity, with women holding 32% of leadership roles, and we invested 25.5 million Egyptian pounds in employee skills development.

Vodafone named Egypt’s best place to work for women

Vodafone Egypt has been recognised as the #1 Best Place to Work for Women in Egypt for 2025, a reward for our commitment to fostering a supportive, empowering environment for female employees.

To celebrate this prestigious award from the Best Places to Work programme, we hosted an event dedicated to our female workforce, proudly branded as VodaWomen.

The event featured inspiring talks by influential female leaders, including Nagla Kinawi, HR Director, and Rasha El-Azhary, Finance Director, whose insights encouraged female employees to thrive in their careers. Attendees also engaged in fun activities and enjoyed delicious treats.
