“The Pink Day”: a celebration of strength and awareness

On 8 October, Vodafone Egypt hosted “The Pink Day”, a Breast Cancer Awareness event in collaboration with Baheya Hospital. This initiative honoured those affected by breast cancer while emphasising the importance of prevention, early detection and treatment options.

In the supportive atmosphere of The Pink Day, employees shared their stories and empowered one another. The vibrant Survivors’ Bazaar featured unique products crafted by breast cancer survivors in celebration of their resilience and creativity.

As part of our well-being drive, employees were given the opportunity to register for free checkups offered by Baheya Hospital, ensuring access to vital health services. Colleagues were also encouraged to show their support for cancer fighters by donating through the Vodafone Cash Screen during the activation, which included informative Awareness Sessions that educated attendees in the importance of early detection and treatment options.

Wearing pink on this day symbolised solidarity and raising awareness for the cause.

Happy snacking with the Happiness Team

As part of their efforts to spread smiles throughout the workplace, Vodafone Egypt’s Happiness Team created snack zones at all office buildings. These snack areas welcomed employees back to the office after their annual summer leave, providing a delightful post-summer treat.

Supporting students with our Back to School initiative

Vodafone Egypt Foundation’s latest Back to School initiative, in collaboration with the charity organisation Al-Manfaz and several esteemed partners, aimed to make a lasting impact on education.

This year, the goal was to empower 10 000 students by providing them with backpacks filled with essential school supplies, ensuring that these young minds have the tools they need for a successful academic year ahead.
