Vodacom Tanzania has cemented its presence in the new capital, Dodoma, with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art office.
As an extension of the company headquarters in Dar es Salaam, the new office is positioned to provide all services available at the head office.
The spacious office takes into consideration the issue of equality and inclusivity for all our customers and staff. It features a refurbished Vodashop equipped to serve customers, including an accessible desk for people with disabilities. The office also includes meeting rooms, a dedicated room for nursing mothers, and a “quiet room” where staff can unwind.
At the inauguration, the Minister of Information, Communication and Information Technology, Nape Nnauye, commended the team for opening a modern office in the country’s capital.
Dodoma is rapidly growing as a strategic location for business activities. Originally designated as the new capital in 1974 to replace Dar es Salaam, the city took a major step towards this goal with the inauguration of the State House in May 2023.
The new Dodoma office space is designed to serve local and international customers and visitors who come for personal and government-related activities.
