M-PESA Foundation and Safaricom Foundation have been transformative forces in Kenya, uplifting lives through health, economic empowerment, education and environmental initiatives. Their Letters for Good series highlights these impactful stories.

M-PESA Foundation and Safaricom Foundation are dedicated to improving the lives of Kenyans. To highlight the positive impact these Foundations have on the community, we launched the Letters for Good series. This initiative showcases the Foundations as catalysts for change, actively creating opportunities and driving meaningful impact within the communities they serve.

Letters for Good is inspired by the many requests received by the Foundations in the form of letters, from all over Kenya. Each of these letters is a story a story of struggle, determination, perseverance and inspiration. The campaign is an ode to the people who have collaborated with the Foundations on various transformative projects, showcasing the profound impact that the Foundations’ projects have on individual Kenyans across all 47 counties.

Five powerful episodes

Letters for Good is a five-part docuseries, available on YouTube, demonstrating the life-changing impact that the Foundations’ projects have had on individual Kenyans across the focus areas of health, education, and economic empowerment. The production team travelled to various parts of the country to bring these stories to life.

Whether it is the story of women in rural Kenya who have conquered fistula with the assistance of M-PESA Foundation; an illumination of the challenges people with disabilities face as they find their path in the world; or the tale of youth who are advancing economically thanks to programmes by the Safaricom Foundation, Letters for Good is a powerful narrative of triumph, hope and resilience of everyday Kenyans.
