How Vodafone Egypt is delighting employees and customers
The Happiness Team kicked off summer with surprise giveaways, engaging employees with sunshades, beach pouches and free iced coffee. Meanwhile, Viva Engage fostered community through vibrant events, and Vodafone Egypt’s network earned top performance accolades.
The Happiness Team: getting ready for summer
In celebration of the start of summer and as a pre-summer engagement, Vodafone Egypt’s Happiness Team surprised employees with several giveaways, tailored to their needs, to get them ready for the hot weather.
First, the Happiness Team surprised employees who park in the sun with sunshades for their cars. Days later, they appeared again with summer pouches for colleagues’ beach travels over the weekend. They also invited employees to order their favourite iced coffee for free and enjoy the cold refreshment as they work.
The Happiness Team continuously surprises employees to drive engagement, comfort and excitement within Vodafone Egypt.
Viva Engage on-ground event: celebrating community and collaboration
The Vodafone Egypt team levelled up Viva Engage, our new platform for fostering engagement and collaboration, with an immersive event. The gathering brought together Viva Engage users to explore their diverse interests and strengthen their sense of unity.
The event featured five vibrant communities: Food, Art, Music, Sports and Gaming. Attendees had the opportunity to dive into hands-on activities, demonstrations and interactive exhibits at each community hub, allowing them to connect with like-minded colleagues and indulge in their passions.
And the experience didn’t stop there. Viva Engage also hosted digital activations to ensure that everyone, regardless of their location, can join in the festivities and engage with the community.
Picture perfect: Photo Opportunity Day for Viva Engage
In an ongoing effort to cultivate a more connected and engaging workplace, Vodafone Egypt encouraged all employees to update their profiles with professional profile pictures. To facilitate this initiative, the company hosted a Photo Opportunity Day at its premises.
Every employee had the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken, which they could use as their profile picture on Viva Engage. The photos will also be featured in internal memos and company announcements, ensuring that everyone can be showcased.
By updating their Viva Engage profiles with these high-quality, standardised profile pictures, employees can help build a stronger sense of community and professionalism within the organisation. The initiative aimed to foster a more cohesive and visually appealing platform for collaboration and engagement.
