Empowering people through connectivity is at the core of our purpose-led strategy, as our second Accessibility Conference reminded us. Vodacom is also promoting connectivity and inclusivity on a massive scale with our continent-wide expansion. We are collaborating to build Africa’s digital backbone, unlocking new possibilities for millions of people across our continent – truly connecting for a better future.
In Kenya, Safaricom launched a groundbreaking new Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and it’s going to change how every employee experiences work, growth and belonging. This initiative reflects Safaricom’s commitment to putting each employee, their aspirations and their well-being at the heart of everything the company does.
Before I sign off, I would like to share something more personal with all of you. After a wonderful journey together, this will be my final message to you in One Spirit.
This is not goodbye – it is the next chapter in our shared Vodacom story. I am heading home to Kenya to rejoin the Safaricom team.
It has been a pleasure to share this journey with you over the past 18 months. Together, we’ve celebrated innovations, shared inspiring stories, and witnessed first-hand how our teams across eight markets are living our purpose of connecting for a better future.
